Our Inspiration

Komal Ullal

President Awardee Komal Ullal is an inspiration to anyone who wants to follow their passion and excel at it. She has made a reputation for herself in the field of art by receiving 577 prizes, 196 trophies, and 109 medals in drawing and painting competitions at national and international level. Her incredible accomplishments won her a spot in the Limca Book of Records in 2007 as the youngest person to receive the most awards in drawing and painting competitions.

Komal’s hard work, dedication and natural talent has propelled her to the pinnacle of her profession. Her incredible achievements continue to influence others and serve as a role model for aspiring artists everywhere.

Her students’ achievements serves as a testament to her ability to pass on the creative baton.

  • National Record holder in Limca Book of Records - 2007 as the highest number of prize winner in Drawing & Panting contest by a school student.
  • President of India’s Gold Medal in Shankar’s International Children’s Competition – 2004.(Awarded by the President of India on 15-02-2005)
  • National Balshree Award – 2002, “In Creative Art” by the President of India Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam at Rashtrapati Bhuvan on 10-2-2004.
  • Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Gold Medal Award in Shankar International Children’s Painting Competition in 2003 (Awarded by the President of India)
  • Golden Palquette Award in XXth International Children’s Painting Competition, held by Children’s Art Club, Bitola, Macedonia.
  • International Child Artist Award in wonder Art World, Amalapuram in the year 2000 and 2004.
  • National Award in CBN’s on the spot Drawing Competition in 1999. (Awarded by Shri M.F. Hussain, world famous Artist).
  • Diploma Award in International Competition Children’s Drawing “SVISHTOV 2003” organized by the Ministry of Education and Science, SVISHTOV, BULGARIA.
  • Honorable Mention Award in International Children’s Art Exhibition – 2004, organized by the Minister of Education & culture of Czech Republic.
  • Pidilite award - Annual Art exhibition- Sir J.J. school of art-2012
