Students Learn Narrative and Visual Communication in UID Workshop

At Urmi’s Art Forum, learning goes beyond art and design classes or career counselling; students regularly participate in creative workshops and industry-led sessions which expand their imagination and skills.

The UID Masterclass, conducted by Prof. Tapash Biswa, faculty at Unitedworld Institute of Design (UID), was one such enriching experience where students explored the world of character-driven creativity. From reimagining classic advertisements to developing fresh commercial concepts, reframing moral stories, and crafting open-ended narratives, the session pushed them to break routine patterns, think differently, and tell stories through design.

Under his expert guidance, students discovered how powerful communication emerges when emotions, visuals, and storytelling come together. Apart from inspiring participants to approach design with curiosity and confidence, the masterclass also sparked creativity within them. This session stood as a true reflection of UAF’s mission to nurture young, original thinkers ready to shape the future of design.
